Race Car Dataloggers
Job, Štefan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This work is focused on race car dataloggers. The goal of this work is put on depicting the dataloggers that are used in the time being and also on the data that are measured as well as the information they provide to the driver or racing engineer. The work itself is divided into four main parts. They deal with the basic terms regarding this topic, the description of the dataloggers and of the companies that specialize in the datalogger production. The conclusion contains general evaluation of this work
The determination of minimal countercurrent distance of the water surface sensor from the thin-plate V-notch weir.
Kopečná, Monika ; Zubík, Pavel (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
This thesis clarifies the issue of the measuring flows with the help of capacity measurement systems using Q/h characteristics and also describes measuring techniques for determining the water surface level. The various types of measuring weirs and their Q/h characteristics are described in detail. It also mentions the position of the installation of the sensor. The main task is to find a practical minimal countercurrent distance of the water surface sensors used in practice for use with a V-notch weir in the form of experimental measurements in the water management research laboratory at the Department of Water Structures Faculty of Civil Engineering in Brno. The weirs used for this experiment had top angle cutouts of 90°, 53°8´ and 28°4´. The obtained data is evaluated and subsequently the minimal countercurrent distance of the water surface sensor is determined. The thesis also includes recommendations for further research.
Evaluation of measuring systems and methods for automatic inspection of workpiece for machining centers.
Hrabal, Josef ; Bradáč, František (referee) ; Opl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with locating new workpieces inserted into the machining center and measurements during and after the machining. This process is going on using contact probes and contactless measuring devices . The result is basic information about the function of the principle of measuring probes, the transmission of measured data and a description of the elements necessary for the proper functioning probes.
Measuring of light resistance of materials used for modern bookbindings with the help of the Microfadeometer System

Survey of the condition of paper of library collections made by the SurveNIR System
Vávrová, Petra ; Součková, Magda ; Mračková, Lucie ; Neoralová, Jitka
Cílem předkládané metodiky je pomocí měřícího systému SurveNIR vyhodnotit stav papíru ucelených písemných a knižních sbírek, případně jednotlivých papírových objektů. Získané informace umožní kvalifikovaně rozhodnout o způsobu další péče o tyto sbírky.

Utilization systematic measuring techniques in industries
ŘEZNÍČEK, Marek
The thesis deals with the problems of measurement in mechanical engineering. It covers the demands in the field, the implementation of selected measurements, machine calibration and factory output quality control in general. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the practical use of measurement techniques and measuring equipment used in mechanical engineering. Presented is the description of the selected measuring instruments and tools used in schools and in practice, eventually their use in the technical courses at universities and engineering schools.
